Shoqata Shqiptaro-Amerikane në Rockford

Shoqata Shqiptaro-Amerikane në Rockford is the Rockford, Illinois presence of the Albanian-American Community of Illinois (AACI), a statewide Albanian-American organization headquartered at 201 W Lake St #180 in Chicago. Rather than operating as a separately registered Rockford nonprofit, the group functions as a local extension of AACI serving Albanian families in the Rockford and Machesney Park area of northern Illinois.

Its anchor program is an Albanian language and culture school for children and families. The school opened on February 5, 2017 at 7424 N 2nd St in Machesney Park, and diaspora coverage described it as the first Albanian school in the Rockford zone of Illinois. It was organized by AACI together with local Albanian parents and community members, and a Facebook page under the name AlbanianSchoolAACI serves as the public contact point for the program.
