Albanian American Cultural Center of Texas

The Albanian American Cultural Center of Texas, known locally as AACC Texas, operates from 350 E Southwest Pkwy in Lewisville and serves Albanian families across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. It is one of the larger Albanian community institutions outside the Northeast corridor, anchored by its own building in Lewisville rather than rented space.

The organization's IRS‑recognized nonprofit entity, Albanian American Cultural Center Inc (also recorded as Iliria, EIN 31‑1694036), has held 501(c)(3) status since May 2000 and is classified under cultural and ethnic awareness. Form 990 filings report annual revenue of $455,358, which places it among the better-resourced Albanian cultural centers in the United States.

The center describes its mission as preserving and passing on Albanian history, culture, language, and heritage to youth and the broader community. In practice that means running an Albanian-language school in DFW — most recently completing its 2025–2026 school year — alongside scholarships, family support, and community events for Albanian-Americans in North Texas.

AACC Texas also functions as a religious anchor for the community, offering mosque services and, together with related Albanian nonprofits in DFW, has been involved in the development of a new Albanian mosque to serve worshippers in the region.
