Albanian Americans in Architecture, Construction and Engineering (AAACE)

Albanian Americans in Architecture, Construction and Engineering (AAACE) is a New York City–based professional association for Albanian-American professionals and entrepreneurs working in architecture, construction, engineering, design trades, and related technology fields. Its stated purpose is to give people in these built-environment disciplines a comfortable platform to meet each other, interact, network, and build their careers.

The group is led by President and Co-Founder Armir Taraj, PE, who fronts the organization's public communications, including its end-of-year messages on Facebook. AAACE keeps a website at aaace-usa.org and runs active Instagram (@aaace.usa) and Facebook channels where it posts event recaps and announcements.

Programming centers on industry talks and networking nights hosted in New York City. In November 2017, AAACE presented alongside Group PMX at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering's ASCE student chapter. More recently, the group hosted a September 25, 2025 event on artificial intelligence in real estate, architecture, construction, and engineering, followed by a December 11, 2025 end-of-year gathering.

Within the wider Albanian-American community, AAACE fills a specific niche: it is not a cultural or social-services group, but a sector-focused professional network that connects Albanian architects, engineers, contractors, and AEC entrepreneurs to each other and to mainstream industry institutions in the New York area. It is listed as a non-profit organization in the Albconnection Albanian business directory.
