Church of Our Lady of Shkodra (Kisha Katolike Zoja e Shkodrës)

The Church of Our Lady of Shkodra (Kisha Katolike Zoja e Shkodrës) is the first Albanian Catholic parish in the United States, erected by Cardinal O'Connor in 1989 with roots in the Albanian-American Catholic League founded in 1962. Around 1,350 families are registered with the parish, which sits at 361 West Hartsdale Avenue in Hartsdale, NY and serves Albanian Catholics across Westchester County and the surrounding New York metro area.

The parish is a Roman-Latin Catholic church with worship offered primarily in Albanian. Sunday Mass is celebrated in Albanian at 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, with daily Mass Monday through Friday at 1:30 PM. Thursday evenings include confessions in Albanian and English from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, followed by a Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.

Sacramental life is central to the parish's work. Baptisms are scheduled on Sundays after morning Mass, with pre-sacramental instruction required for parents and godparents. Couples preparing to marry are asked to contact the parish at least three months in advance, submit updated baptismal certificates, obtain a civil marriage license, and attend pre-Cana conferences.
