What you get

Five things every registrant gets.

Registration is free, takes about 2 minutes, and produces a permanent record you control. Here's what lives on your member account once you're in.

01

A Certificate of Albanian Heritage — cryptographically signed

A digital recognition document with your name, your registration number, and the date you joined the count. PNG and PDF — download for printing or framing, or pass it to a family member. Every certificate issued from April 2026 onward is signed as a W3C Verifiable Credential (Ed25519, did:web:albanianregistry.org), so anyone can verify it independently at /verify/[your number] without contacting NAR — useful if NAR ever shuts down.

Not a passport. Not a government ID. Not proof of citizenship. A community recognition document — exactly what it says it is.

02

A permanent registry number

Like a member ID, sequential, never reused. The first 100 names live publicly on the Founding 100 wall, with full names visible (you can opt out at registration if you'd rather not). Numbers 101 onward stay on the count without public name display unless you choose otherwise.

03

Household linking — bring the family on the count

From your account you can invite spouse, parents, adult children, siblings, and grandparents. Each household member gets their own registration number and their own certificate; the head of household sees the full household roster in one place. Adults register themselves (per the household policy adopted 2026-04-26 — every adult answers their own questions, no proxies).

04

An itemized donation record

When you give — one-time or monthly — every donation appears on your account with date, amount, and Stripe receipt. Tax-deductible upon IRS 501(c)(3) confirmation (filed; pending). If you ever need a refund within the 30-day window, the request comes from the same account; see the refund policy for what qualifies.

05

Full data control — export or delete, anytime

Your account has a one-click JSON export of everything we hold on you, and a one-click permanent deletion that wipes your record from our database (the cohort slot stays empty; we never recycle numbers). NAR will not sell your data, hand it to advertisers, or share it with any government agency — foreign or domestic — under any circumstances short of a court order, and we'll publish that fact and notify you before any compelled disclosure. We don't collect Social Security numbers, addresses (city is optional), or immigration status.

How sign-in works

No password. Just your email.

Magic-link only. Type your email, get a one-click sign-in link in your inbox. No password to forget, no password to leak. The link expires after one use.

Don't see the email? Check spam, then add hello@albanianregistry.org to your contacts so future links don't get filtered.

Ready when you are.

Register if you're not on the count yet. Sign in if you already are — your certificate, household roster, and donation history are waiting.
