The City of Sterling Heights' annual Cultural Exchange brings together the city's many ethnic communities for an evening of performance, food, and cultural displays. The 2026 edition prominently featured the Albanian community — Sterling Heights is home to one of the largest Albanian-American populations in Michigan — alongside Bulgarian, Chaldean, Filipino, Macedonian, Polish, and other groups. Ethnic music and dance, educational displays from area cultural organizations, and tastings of traditional desserts, breads, and dips. Hosted by the Ethnic Community Committee.
