About this lot

Burning Tree opened in 1963 to a Hal Purdy design. Purdy trained under Robert Trent Jones, and the course plays like it: tight, tree-lined, a test of placement over power. It sits behind the gates of back-country Greenwich, the kind of course most golfers only ever read about.

You play the full eighteen with Richard Lukaj — cart, lunch, the whole afternoon. Lukaj spent two decades on Wall Street, co-founded the Stamford investment bank Bank Street Group, co-founded the American University in Kosovo, and serves as Albania's Honorary Consul to the United States. A round with him is the kind of access this fund exists to open up.

✓ Only the winning card was charged, automatically, when the lot closed.

✓ Card entry was handled entirely by Stripe. AANO and NAR never saw a card number.

✓ Every dollar supports the Next Generation Scholarship Fund.
